Note: Outside of China, free maps of Chinese destinations are hard to find.

You can get maps of big cities like Beijing and Shanghai on the web
but few of the less important destinations. China Tourist Offices
have a limited supply of excellent maps. Do give them a try.

Once you get to China, however, you can get good free maps in many big city hotels.

My guide book has over 20 simple maps, listed below, and not posted here.

I collect maps of places where I've been in China.
Not all of them can be reproduced and I must apologize
for the quality of those here. They were not meant for the web.

I decided to go with minimum standards because free city maps are
so hard to find and I wanted to give you some idea of where things are before
you go. As I collect newer and better maps and update these,
I will replace these old ones.

Please don't expect too much. These are the best I can
do at this time within the space and technology available
